A very unusual look at the process of dying and the issues of hospice care and voluntary euthanasia. The author does not 'push' any view and, indeed, provides one of the most thoughtful studies I have seen on this vexed topic. The narrative is enhanced by some very clear, frank and somewhat confronting photographs of some of the people mentioned in the text.
